A Career Built on Sound Excellence
Jason Wolf’s journey as a sound engineer began in the late 90s, right at the turning point between analog and digital audio workflows. Working at Digidesign (Avid), Opcode Systems, and Seer Systems, he became deeply involved in digital audio technology, specializing in Pro Tools integration, system design, and technical support for major post-production facilities. In this audio engineer position, Jason traveled and worked out of all national film and music hubs as well as international markets, working with top studios, musicians, and filmmakers to implement cutting-edge audio solutions.
Beyond his technical expertise, Jason’s passion for sound design and dialogue editing led him into the creative side of post-production. Early in his career, he worked on Network animated productions featuring voice talents like Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson) and became well-versed in the art of dialogue restoration, ADR, and mixing for broadcast and theatrical releases. His ability to seamlessly blend technical precision with creative storytelling set the stage for his career as a supervising sound editor, re-recording mixer, and sound designer.
